I’ve photographed many weddings at Eltham Palace over the years and never tire of it’s art deco splendour. Formerly a medieval Tudor palace dating back to the fourteenth century, the property was taken on by Stephen and Virginia Courtauld in 1933 who transformed it into an art deco masterpiece. The high quality interior is richly designed, with an abundance of beautiful integral features and original furniture, including a domed entrance hall, wood panelled marquetry and sweeping staircases. Today the building is cared for by English Heritage, making it one London’s most desired wedding venues.
