It was a real pleasure to see a wedding I photographed at London’s iconic Claridge’s Hotel featured recently in The Sunday Times Style magazine. It’s always rewarding when a wedding you’ve photographed is recognised in print, but even more so when it’s one that took place in one of London’s most elegant and historic venues.

I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph weddings at Claridge’s many times over the past two decades, and it remains one of my favourite London venues. From the moment you step into the marble lobby, through the sweeping staircases and into the beautifully restored Art Deco interiors, every space offers incredible opportunities for timeless, elegant wedding photography.

One of the reasons I love photographing weddings at Claridge’s is that the architecture never competes with the couple—it enhances the story. The soft light, refined details and understated luxury create the perfect setting for natural, unobtrusive photographs that feel sophisticated without ever looking staged.

Having photographed luxury weddings in London’s finest hotels for almost 20 years, I’m very familiar with the unique rhythm of these celebrations. Whether it’s an intimate ceremony, a grand ballroom reception, or portraits taken discreetly between events, experience matters. Knowing the venue, understanding the light throughout the day, and working seamlessly alongside experienced planners and venue teams allows couples to relax and enjoy their wedding, confident that every important moment is being captured.

Alongside Claridge’s, I’ve photographed weddings at many of London’s most prestigious hotels, including The Lanesborough, The Berkeley, The Langham, Mandarin Oriental, The Landmark and The Dorchester. Each has its own character, but they all share the same level of elegance, impeccable service and attention to detail that makes them exceptional wedding venues.

My approach has always been to create photographs that are authentic, refined and enduring. Rather than directing every moment, I prefer to let the day unfold naturally, capturing genuine emotions, subtle interactions and the atmosphere that makes every wedding unique. The result is a collection of images that feels as timeless as the venues themselves.

If you’re planning your wedding at Claridge’s or another of London’s luxury hotels, I’d be delighted to hear about your plans. With a wealth of experience photographing weddings at some of the city’s most exclusive venues, I understand how to create elegant, natural images that reflect both the beauty of the setting and, most importantly, your story.
